A PASSION FOR BUSINESS AND SOCIETY
Welcome to my website!
I am a Senior Lecturer in Business Ethics and Responsible Management in the department of Management and Organisations at the University of Western Australia (Australia), an Affiliated Researcher at the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), and a Visiting Fellow at Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand).
I work in the context of organisation studies and social responsibility. My teaching focuses on how organisations and workers navigate social and environmental challenges to generate positive value for themselves and wider society. My research draws on organisation theory and sociology, engaging with debates of marginalisation and embodiment to better understand how distinct forms of organising emerge in complex institutional contexts. As an ethnographer and qualitative researcher, I immerse myself directly with workers and organisations, aiming to produce insights that advance academic discourse while driving tangible, real-world change.
I received a PhD in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), specialising in Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, and subsequently completed postdoctoral research at the University of Victoria's Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation (Canada). My academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bocconi University (Italy), a Master of Science in International Management (CEMS) from University College Dublin (Ireland), and an MBA in Management and Finance from McGill University (Canada).
Prior to entering academia, I spent approximately six years working within the fashion industry across Asia and Europe—an experience that continuously shapes my teaching and research. I find joy from engaging with diverse cultures and communities, and I have lived in over ten countries across three continents over the past two decades. Much of my research is firmly grounded in South and Southeast Asia, regions that profoundly inspire my work.
Thank you for visiting and feel free to get in touch.
