A passion for business and society 

Hello, buongiorno, and welcome to my website! I am a senior lecturer of sustainable business at Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University, United Kingdom), an affiliated researcher at Mistra Centre for Sustainable Markets (Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden) and a research fellow at Sasin School of Management (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand).

My main research agenda focuses on corporate social responsibility, corporate sustainability and sustainable supply chains in emerging markets, especially in South and Southeast Asia. As I describe in the website, I am currently working on two main projects: 1) implementing social responsibility and sustainability in emerging markets' supply chains (The Supply Chain Project) and 2) building a more inclusive workplace (The Inclusive Workplace Project).

Before joining Cranfield School of Management, I received my doctoral degree from Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden) with a focus on sustainable business, I completed my postdoctoral studies in the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation at University of Victoria (BC, Canada), and worked as a lecturer in management at Sasin School of Management (Thailand). I also received a bachelor in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), a master of science in International Management (CEMS) from University College Dublin (Dublin, Ireland), and a master in business administration in Management and Finance from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). In addition to my academic background, I have worked for about six years in the apparel industry as area manager, in Japan and Italy.

I am particularly interested in social and environmental challenges in emerging markets, and especially on how to address them systematically. I love experiencing different contexts and constantly learning from people. Having resided in three continents and more than ten different countries in my life, I consider myself to be a global citizen. I am particularly fascinated by South and Southeast Asia, where I conduct most of my research.
